Let me introduce us to you. We are Jerry and Sandy Miller (pictured), the owners of jerrysplantsonline.com, which is a part of Po'Folks Ozark Mountain Enterprises. I'm better known as the "Hillbilly Gardener". We live in the beautiful Ozarks of Missouri where we raised our two children and are now helping to raise our two beautiful granddaughters (pictured). I have been gardening and enjoying the outdoors for more than 45 years now and enjoy sharing with other gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts alike. For me gardening and outdoor living go hand in hand and are each an extension of the other. For many years I have been surfing the web, investigating the many wonderful products and informative articles that are available to gardeners and outdoor lovers alike. Through my endeavors I have come to the realization that it can be very time-consuming and often frustrating to find a particular item or information on a particular issue. I have also come to realize that there is a seemingly infinite number of unique and practical items available to us today as gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts alike, but they are often overlooked or elusive because of the vast amount of "stuff" on the internet today. To compound the matter even more these products and/or articles are often buried inside countless words and other content "stuff" on the various websites where they can be found. Or the website seems bent on pummeling me about the head and shoulders to "buy today" or something "BAD" will happen! I got to thinking that there had to be a better way of presenting this information and these products to visitors. It is for this reason that jerrysplantsonline.com came about. I have tried to search out as many of the merchants who offer unique products as possible and present them in a different format and all in one website to make it easy to find them. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I myself respond better to pictures than words, so I have tried to pick out a vast assortment of products that these merchants offer and sprinkle pictures of these products throughout this website. These pictures are linked to a full description of the product for your consideration. No arm twisting, hard selling or screaming at you. You, the reader, are intelligent enough to make up your own mind as to whether or not you want the product and you don't need to beat up or mislead in order to get you to buy something. Additionally, I have sought out some of the most relevant and pertinent information available that would be of interest to gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Much of this information comes from merchant writers or other sources who are experts in their respective fields. I can think of no better way to present accurate and timely information than to get it straight from the horses mouth (so-to-speak). I also include articles written by myself, gleaned from many years of experience that I would like to share with you. Our humble site is not the biggest or the best yet and maybe never will be, but we're striving for it to be your number one choice for gardening and outdoor living products and information.
